TRINA BRUNK
VISUAL ART
I fell in love with drawing probably around the time I was 4 years old. I've thought of myself as an artist ever since. I love exploring different media, finding and expanding my edges. Currently I'm working in watercolor, watercolor pencil, oils and photography.
I see 'art' as a verb, not a noun ~ a way of life. I art because it feeds my sense of joy and aliveness when I slow down enough to see myself and the world more clearly. I love sharing what I see.
~ grieving the changes I see in my dad as he fights cancer. feelings moving me downward, toward the earth. being present with the intensity of this flow. there is beauty here also.
~ all activity and movement radiating from a imperturbable stillness inside
Camping at Three Creeks at the end of summer, three moments before the leaves turned colors. Two shots of the same spot, just moments apart.
